Norwegian to San Juan?
Yeah! You read that right!
International low cost airline Norwegian just announced service to San Juan, Puerto Rico a territory in the United States, and they’ll be using their spankin’ new Boeing 787 aircraft for the job. But Wait- IT GETS BETTER! The airline plans to launch flight to San Juan from Copenhagen, London, Oslo AND Stockholm! The flights will start this November just as the cold is setting in, letting you jet off to somewhere warm.
Now, that may seem like quite a few new routes to start off with but be aware that the flights will not be operating daily, sometimes only once a week to each market. Regardless, we’re happy to see the service. While some of these routes – such as the London route – were previously served by Virgin Atlantic years ago, most have never seen these non-stop routes available. To add to the excitement, the Copenhagen to San Juan route will continue onto St. Croix before heading back to Copenhagen.
As we mentioned the routes will be operated with their new Boeing 787 aircraft offering 32 in their premium cabin and 259 in their economy cabin. Norwegian is a low cost airline so there aren’t a lot of frills so if you haven’t flown them before, make sure to read up on them before you fly.
